Repair for the SCHWENK building materials group in Bernburg

Christian Pfeiffer successfully carried out a repair of a cement mill for the SCHWENK building materials group at the Bernburg cement plant, Germany. Within 12 days, mill internals where repaired including: a new mill face, the mill shell lining in the first grinding chamber, and the inlet structure with shell lining. These were all delivered and installed, and the trunnion bearing pad was renewed. 

The repairs were completed three days ahead of schedule thanks to precise planning and a suitable installation concept despite tight space conditions, which required a special lifting solution for the 18-ton end bearing. SCHWENK Zement Bernburg was very satisfied with the performance.
